My research focuses on building representative digital twins of real-world environments through the integration of localised IoT sensor networks, UAV-acquired imagery, and satellite-based remote sensing data. By leveraging multimodal sensing technologies and advanced data analytics, my work aims to enhance crop monitoring, optimise irrigation management, enable early pest and disease detection, and support yield estimation. More broadly, I am interested in how digital technologies can be used to understand, model, and manage dynamic natural and managed ecosystems. My work combines sensing systems, geospatial technologies, and human-centred research to capture interactions between people, infrastructure, and the environment. I facilitate data-driven decision-making by developing practical tools to advance innovation in land-based technologies.
